He keeps his expression friendly, but something in Jack's tone tugs at his heart a little and for the sake of trust he lets some of that show too. Maybe it was a poor question to ask so soon after everything he's been through, so in something of an apology he adds, "Andrew Ryan's your blood, sure, but that doesn't make him your family. Didn't you know anyone else before you came here?"
