"Alright, fair enough," Sinclair gives, not really sure what to make of Jack's reaction. It speaks for itself, of course, that he must not have had anyone, or if he did then they're no longer around to go back to. But the reaction itself, something about it strikes him as particularly odd. He can't quite put his finger on it though.

He decides to walk them the rest of the way in silence. It's obvious Jack needs a moment to collect himself, and Sinclair figures he might feel a little more at ease with a glass in his hand.
