Sinclair gives Jack a somewhat pitying look. Whatever happened in that office is obviously something that's been messing with Jack's head ever since. That's something he's seen a lot of since coming here. When people have no solid guidelines to follow, some sort of instruction to tell them right from wrong, they tend to forget. And they start to wonder. And they confuse themselves, they lose track of their morals and it eats them up. At least it did before they figured out they could splice their turmoils away.
