swiggety swat let's have a chat

"...Whichever way you slice it, good men died."

Fontaine finishes his little speech, and privately thanks Andrew Ryan for being so instantly antagonistic towards the kid. He hardly needs to do the work of turning the kid against him. It's beautiful, really.

Back to business. Gotta make sure the boy doesn't dawdle. When you stop walking you start thinking, ha ha ha.

"Me family's in a submarine hidden in the foundation of Fontaine Fisheries." Which means he'll have to get through Peachy, but the kid is more than capable of that. "I'll meet you there."

So far things hadn't been nearly as difficult as he had thought they would be. Coming out of the medical pavilion, defeating Steinman, Jack had assumed that it would only get worse. But upon arrival to this place, well at least so far the hall he was in was clear. He just hadn't gotten into the open spaces that was crawling with them yet.
He was silent for a while, just moving one foot in front of another. Regardless of if he was a weapon or not he still had nerves, and fears. Fears that he needed to be taken care of when he started to hear the splicers talking a short ways down the hall. It was unnerving as hell.

"T-Tell me about your family Atlas?" he asked after a moment, he needed a bit of a distraction. Needed to get his mind away from all this. He grabbed up some Eve, waiting for the Irishman to start talking a bit. Pushing the needle into his arm and pushing down the syringe. He had to be ready, had to be prepared for when he walked through those doors.

"How'd you meet her?" he asked after a moment, "Before or after coming here?"

He was curious, after all he wanted to get to know the family he was saving. He was helping Atlas to the best of his ability but he wanted to know. It kept his mind from wondering to far, which was something Fontaine would probably be more than happy about. As the door slowly opened in front of him he saw the huge open space and took a deep breath.

The smell of fish still hung heavily in the air. It was enough that it nearly made Jack gag. But after a moment he lowered himself down under the wooden platform and started to crawl towards the open space. It was probably better to strike the splicers this way. It was less likely that they would know where he was. It would take them longer to strike back.

There was a splicer in a puddle a short distance from him. His hand started to change slightly. Showing off a slight blue glow of electricity under the skin. At the tips of his fingers the electricity was going from one finger to the next. Dancing beautifully on the tips. He hated to admit it, he was starting to really enjoy the power that plasmids were giving him. He wasn't sure if he could stop taking them at this point. They were just so helpful.

Once the splicer's back was turned Jack rose his hand up and hit the man with Electro bolt. Watching as the water and body lit up with electricity. It gave him just enough time to take out his pistol and fire a shot at him. Well one splicer down, countless others to go.
